At approximately 1.30pm today (26th June 2008) a small propeller plane crashed into a house in a residential area, Taman Cempaka, Ipoh. The site was just right behind my girlfriend’s house.

A neighbour saw the plane flew at a low level before hitting a nearby tree and crashed into the corner house’s compound.

Finally I have completed editing the videos that I have recorded. However, I do not have the videos taken from the church wedding in Kepong (due to my mistake) and I am waiting for the videos from Ad Win’s relatives.

Here are the videos taken from my sister’s wedding tea ceremony at my house in ipoh.

The first video shows the entrance of the gifts given by the groom’s family (delicious whole roast pig and a fruit basket). At the end of the ceremony, the roast pig’s head and tail were returned to the groom’s side.

My sister’s wedding ceremony is just two weeks time and the tea ceremony will be held at my house. However, as many of my friends know, the state of the living room is a bit not presentable for a wedding tea ceremony. Thanks to my father’s mountains and mountains of letters and stuffs, even the dining table is not recognizable.

Therefore, a thorough house cleaning was organized with the help of several laborers; daddy, sister, myself, and baby Stephanie.

Last weekend I went back to Ipoh and like usual, I will be watching movies at TGV, Kinta City. I watched Iron Man and Forbidden Kingdom in one day.

Coincidentally that Saturday was the opening of the newly renovated food court. I am sure that many of you Ipoh people would not realize this.

A new donut shop was one of the tenants at the food court and several previous stalls have vanished. However, the popular sizzling hot plate noodle and the yong tau fu stalls are still there.

The center area is now a children’s playground instead of the previously over-sized drink stall.

At about 10am, we queued with a long line of people with coupons, patiently waiting for the free half dozen of donuts. The donuts giveaway wasn’t even ready yet at about 1020am, and we have to rush to the 1030am movie. Luckily, the staff distributed numbers for those on the queue and we got a number. Only the first 100 customers were given the free donuts.
